Happy fall from Oklahoma! Unfortunately the weather here is not totally cooperating with my fall wardrobe…it’s been anywhere from 60-90 degrees (which changes on a day-to-day basis). We have to be prepared for anything over here…hah!
I’ve been seeing everybody else wearing their fall clothing and am so excited that I’ve been able to slowly start pulling it out. FALL FASHION IS THE BEST! I’ve been keeping my summer clothes on standby though for those warm October days. Cute jackets and cardigans have been awesome for those awkward cold mornings and warm afternoons. (You know what I’m talking about!)
So we’ve been busy. Like, I’m dreaming of getting sick so I can stay home and sleep all day busy. (Ok, not really…) But honestly, it has been a crazy month so far, so forgive me for slacking on social media. At least I’m keeping up with my post schedule huh?!
Our apartment has been suffering because cleaning has been booted down on the priority list. (Dishes never ennnnnddddd!!). And poor Garrett… we’ve been scrounging dinner together real quick every night and eating late. I’ll get my act together soon guys. I’m just learning to juggle the load right now. Good training for kids right? 🙂
So, how do we cope with these crazy times? The answer is….COOKIE BUTTER! We. are. obsessed. If you live by a Trader Joes, I am a little bit jealous! You may soon find out through this blog that we like food….like a lot. G loves his meat, my jam is anything that has to do with bread or sweets.
Anyway, I thought I’d share with you one of my favorite fall outfits! I. Love. Flannel. It is such a great versatile staple in a fall wardrobe. It can be worn alone, used for layering, tied around the waist… IT’S AMAZING!
The length and the feel of this shirt are great! I snagged the classic looking red color, but they have other color options as well, so rock whatever you want! I couldn’t find the exact one online that I bought in store, but I have linked other colors and styles so that you can check them out!
Black pants make everything look more dressed up. I got these at American Eagle a while back on sale. They have been great, and are jeggings which make them stretchy and soft! Unfortunately (probably due to how much I wear them) I have noticed they are starting to fade a bit, so I will be purchasing a new pair of black pants soon. Have any good suggestions? Please comment below! I have the hardest time finding good pants.
Wedges! I love these taupe wedges from Target (I also wore them in my T-Shirt Dress Post–check it out if you haven’t) they go with everything! I’ve been told that TOMS wedges are suuuuuper comfy, and I’m planning on trying those next. I have them linked in this post if you want to try them out. Let me know what you think if you do! If you are looking for something comparable, and cheaper, then these Target wedges are a great way to go!
Alright, I’ll stop talking your ear off about this fall outfit now. Hope this gave you ladies some good inspiration for your fall wardrobes! Feel free to comment, and don’t forget to subscribe!
