Hey lovelies! So the Nordstrom Anniversary sale is live to the public now! I have been looking through the website and there is still so much good stuff on there at good prices. If you need to stock up for your fall wardrobe I suggest checking it out! Today I will be posting about what clothes to pack in a carry-on for a month in Europe so that I can remember why it is ok that I have no money to spend on the Nordstrom sale, hah! For reals though, our trip wiped us poor grad school students clean, and yet it was priceless and I wouldn’t change it for the world.

Ok, so after our Europe trip we had some family come into town and I realized that I didn’t have a swimsuit!!! Like….at all. (what kind of a California girl am I?! The kind that has lived away from the golden coast for too long!)  So I went on this huge search for a cute swimsuit, but because of a time crunch I just went and bought a really cute one at Target. Oh Target….. <3 Today I wanted to share with you my findings while searching for a cute swimsuit–shops, trends, etc. I’ve got your back! Hello!!!!! Ok, here I go again on a book about human nature and positive psychology! I can’t help it you guys! I love this stuff! Anyway, I’ll try to branch out more in the future. The book I am reviewing today is “Leadership and Self-Deception: Getting out of the Box” written by the Arbinger Institute. So this book….this book is amazing! It is  a very in depth view on human nature, and how we sabotage our success and our relationship with others. What is the box you ask? Well you are just going to have to read the book. They specifically say in there to not try and explain “the box” to anyone because it is hard to grasp. Did I scare you off there? 🙂
